finally post

this first semester in gym has been an eye opening experience for me even though i don't think this has been the best gym semester for me but i has been great improving my fitness level i think i'm going to keep up fitness routines by hopefully joining a summer soccer team i love soccer and it keeps you very fit i left soccer for a while but now i'm so unfit. i want to keep a good healthy life its good for you. I'm going to be honest I love gym not on fitness days though everyday I woke up with such a day attitude towards fitness and I don't think there should be fitness days on Fridays because it's Friday and everyone wants to dress up nice but for me when I have fitness second period then I have dance 3rd it's not good because fitness mixed with ms. Laws work outs is so hard. In the whole semester I tried my best I really did in one point before before winter break I was really sick and there's a lot of things that happened to me and I didn't do gym because of them but I was completely honest and if I didn't do it I kinda hated myself because I knew that I could of tried my best. It's really hard to keep a blog going every day or week speacially when your in grade 10 it gets really hard and you loose track of every single thing that you have to do so that kind of explains my blog. How I could of improved this semester in gym is not being afraid of doing what you can alone I mean it's great doing things with your friends but when they aren't a good example then you need to do the right thing and do things alone and hey I wasn't born with anyone I can do things on my own. My motivations came from Morgan and Neuf you guys are amazing and have been a great support and understanding id love to be in your class again. I think I deserve overall a B 82% and a we'll deserved one because I wasn't the best but I tried, sweated and fought through the pain in somedays and bad days. I don't think gym or fitness is about oh this kid is better then the other so they get an A no it's about the effort that the person makes and puts time to what they are doing and does it better then people that think they are doing it right and they don't have to try it's better to not be good at it and do your best and have a positive attitudes towards it. I loved my classmates sometimes it was a great class and semester in gym.

  1. Kim you have such an awesome energy about you some days. I know you were hurt and sick some this year which put a damper on your pre Xmas spirit... but I think your reflection above also recognizes the social construct that limits you. You have totally healthy desire to be with your friends and look nice on Fridays, but you haven't figured out how to balance those things with your long term goals to be healthier through exercise. Just so you know, for lots of people exercise NEVER becomes a "fun" thing. It is one of those things that makes you feel good because you know its good for you. I hope you continue to work on the balance between short term and long term gains, and the balance between personal goals and the needs of freindship circles. Good luck with dance.
